Advanced Data Center Switching (ADCX)

This five-day course is designed to provide in-depth instruction on IP fabric and EVPN-VXLAN data center design and configuration. Additionally, the course will cover other data center concepts, including basic and advanced data center design options, Data Center Interconnect (DCI), EVPN multicast enhancements, and an introduction to data center automation concepts. The course ends with a multi-site data center design lab.

Advanced Junos Enterprise Routing (AJER)

This four-day course is designed to provide students with the tools required for implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Layer 3 components in an enterprise network. Detailed coverage of OSPF, BGP, class of service (CoS), and multicast is strongly emphasized. The course also exposes students to common troubleshooting commands and tools used to troubleshoot various intermediate to advanced issues. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations.

Advanced Junos Enterprise Switching (AJEX)

This two-day course is designed to provide detailed coverage of virtual LAN (VLAN) operations, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) and VLAN Spanning Tree Protocol (VSTP), authentication and access control for Layer 2 networks, IP telephony features, class of service (CoS) and monitoring and troubleshooting tools and features supported on the EX Series Ethernet Switches. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations. This course uses Juniper Networks EX 4300 Series Ethernet Switches for the hands-on component, but the lab environment does not preclude the course from being applicable to other Juniper hardware platforms running the Junos OS. Optional lab components are available allowing attendees to perform network management and troubleshooting tasks using Junos Space Network Director 3.0. This course is based on Junos OS Release 17.1R1.8.

Advanced Junos Platform Automation and DevOps (AJAUT)

This three-day course provides hands-on experience with DevOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC) with devices running the Junos OS. You will learn the tools needed to operate an open-source DevOps environment, including Docker, GitLab, Ansible, The Robot Framework, and Jenkins. Hands-on labs include utilizing the tools to build a working DevOps project using two Juniper vMX devices.

Advanced Junos Security (AJSEC)

This five-day course, which is designed to build off the current Junos Security (JSEC) offering, delves deeper into Junos security and next-generation security features. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, you will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the advanced Junos OS security features with advanced coverage of virtualization, AppSecure, advanced logging and reporting, next generation Layer 2 security, user firewall, next generation advanced anti-malware with Sky ATP, next generation security intelligence with software-defined secure networks. This course uses Juniper Networks SRX Series Services Gateways for the hands-on component. This course is based on Junos OS Release 15.1X49-D90.7 and Junos Space Security Director 16.2.

Advanced Junos Service Provider Routing (AJSPR)

This five-day course is designed to provide students with detailed coverage of OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and routing policy. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations. This course uses Juniper Networks vMX Series Routers for the hands-on component, but the lab environment does not preclude the course from being applicable to other Juniper hardware platforms running the Junos OS. This course is based on the Junos OS Release 17.1.

AppFormix Cloud Services (AFCS)

This course is designed to provide knowledge of how to monitor entities in cloud networks. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, you will gain experience in setting up and configuring AppFormix. You will also gain knowledge of the different AppFormix features, JT using native sensors, and JTI using OpenConfig and gRPC.

Configuring Steel-Belted Radius Carrier (CSBR)

This two-day course discusses the configuration for Juniper Networks Steel-Belted Radius Carrier. Key topics include installation, client configuration, users, authentication, and replication. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting basic aspects of SBR Carrier. This course uses SBR Carrier software running on a Red Hat Enterprise Linux server for the hands-on component. This course is based on SBR Carrier Standalone software release 7.5.0.

Creating and Maintaining Optical Transport and MEF Services using the BTI7000 Series

This three-day course introduces students to the BTI7000 system technology, products, applications, and product installation. Students learn about system setup and operating requirements, as well as best practices for installing and maintaining BTI7000 Series equipment. This course combines slide presentation, product demonstrations, and extensive hands‐on labs. This course is based on software platform 13.1.

Creating and Maintaining Optical Transport Services using the BTI7800 Series

This two-day BTI Systems Series 7800 operation, administration, provisioning, and maintenance course is designed for customers who are deploying the BTI Systems Series 7800 platform in their networks, and leveraging its 100G transport capabilities. This course introduces the student to the platform and its various hardware components, and leads the students through the commissioning process of the platform—from a brand new, factory-default system to a fully operational network with actual payload. The student will learn how to install, configure, provision, and monitor optical transport services on the platform. Periodic maintenance procedures will be reviewed, and collection of performance measurements will be demonstrated. The student will also perform alarm configuration and alarm condition handling, including troubleshooting procedures. This course is based on software release 1.6.

Implementing Juniper Networks Secure Analytics (IJSA)

This three-day course discusses the configuration of Juniper Networks JSA Series Secure Analytics (formerly known as Security Threat Response Manager [STRM]) in a typical network environment. Key topics include deploying a JSA Series device in the network, configuring flows, running reports, and troubleshooting. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting the JSA Series device. This course uses the Juniper Networks Secure Analytics (JSA) VM virtual appliance for the hands-on component. This course is based on JSA software 2014.2R4.

Introduction to Junos Platform Automation and DevOps (IJAUT)

This three-day course provides students with introductory knowledge of how to automate Junos using DevOps automation tools, protocols, and technologies. Students receive hands-on experience with tools and languages relevant to automating the Junos OS platform in a DevOps environment. The course includes an introduction to the basic DevOps practices, Junos APIs, and NETCONF. It then focuses on using Python, PyEZ, Ansible, and REST API to automate Junos. XML, JSON, and YAML are introduced as these languages facilitate Junos automation. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in automating the Junos operating system and device operations. This course uses Junos OS Release 18.1R1, Junos PyEZ 2.1, and Ansible 2.5.

Introduction to Junos Security (IJSEC)
This 3-day course is designed to provide students with the foundational knowledge required to work with SRX Series devices. This course will use the J-Web user interface to introduce students to the Junos operating system. The course provides a brief overview of security problems and how Juniper Networks approaches a complete security solution with Juniper Connected Security. Key topics include configuration tasks for initial system configuration, interface configuration, security object configuration, security policy configuration, IPsec VPN configuration, and NAT configuration. The course then delves into Layer 7 security using UTM, IDP, and AppSecure to provide students with the understanding of application-level security to block advanced threats. An overview of Sky ATP is included for students to understand zero-day network protection technologies. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos OS and monitoring basic device operations. This course is based on Junos OS Release 19.1R1.6.
Introduction to the Junos Operating System (IJOS)

This three-day course provides students with the foundational knowledge required to work with the Junos operating system and to configure Junos devices. The course provides a brief overview of the Junos device families and discusses the key architectural components of the software. Key topics include user interface options with a heavy focus on the command-line interface (CLI), configuration tasks typically associated with the initial setup of devices, interface configuration basics with configuration examples, secondary system configuration, and the basics of operational monitoring and maintenance of Junos devices. The course then delves into foundational routing knowledge and configuration examples including general routing concepts, routing policy, and firewall filters. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos OS and monitoring basic device operations. This course is based on Junos OS Release 19.2R1.8.

This three-day course is designed to provide students with an understanding of cloud enabled networks, cloud service deployment concepts, and virtualized network platforms such as vSRX and vMX. This course provides a high level overview and understanding of the following concepts: Cloud Network Underlays, Cloud Network Overlays, Cloud Design, Cloud Implementation Methods, Cloud Services, and Juniper Networks Virtualized Platforms.

Juniper Cloud Networking with AWS and Azure (JCNAA)

This four-day course is designed to provide students with the knowledge required to implement Juniper Networks vSRX in the AWS and Azure environments. Students will gain in-depth knowledge about how to launch and configure the vSRX using different cloud designs. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience deploying the vSRX in multiple configurations to secure cloud resources. This course uses various releases of the vSRX from Junos OS version 15.1X49-D100 through Junos OS version 19.1R1, as well as Space, Security Director, and Policy Enforcer releases 19.1R1.

Juniper Networks Campus Design Best Practices (CDBP)

This one-day course covers campus network design background, challenges, requirements, and drivers, as well as the Juniper Networks recommended solutions and designs for meeting those requirements and overcoming the identified challenges. The course provides an overview of various network technologies used in campus network designs including WAN and LAN connectivity, wireless networks, security, high availability (HA), and user mobility. To enhance the learning experience, the theoretical parts of the lecture materials are complemented with a collaborative design request for proposal (RFP) exercise. The RFP exercise provides further enhancement to the student learning experience, enabling students to apply the learned principles of best practices for campus network design into real-world examples.
