Data Center Automation using Juniper Apstra (APSTRA) This five-day course provides students with the foundational knowledge required to manage data center networks with Juniper Apstra software. This class will provide attendees with the knowledge to operate and manage Juniper Apstra. Attendees will be given a background on modern data center design and intent-based networking concepts.
The course covers the Juniper Apstra architecture and its data center reference architecture including the designing, building, deploying, and automation of a three-stage IP fabric with Virtual Extensible LAN (VXLAN) overlay. The course goes on to cover navigation of the Juniper Apstra UI including creating resources, designs, templates, and instantiating blueprints (a running network). After teaching you to use Juniper Apstra to build a running data center, the course reviews the operational tools for managing a system with Juniper Apstra including basic troubleshooting, global and blueprint UI walkthroughs, role-based access control, drain mode, adding and removing nodes from a fabric, rolling back an entire network (Time Voyager), creating on-box and off-box agents, configuring security policies, connectivity templates, querying the graph database, and performing intent-based analytics (IBA). This course is based on Juniper Apstra Release 4.0.1.

Data Center Automation using Juniper Apstra Freeform (APSTRAFF)This course provides students with the foundational knowledge required to work with the Juniper Apstra Freeform reference design and to manage networks with Juniper Apstra software. This class will provide attendees with the knowledge to build, operate, and manage a network using the Juniper Apstra Freeform features set. Attendees will be given a background on Jinja2 templating.
The course covers the Juniper Apstra Freeform reference design and including the designing, building, deploying, and automation of a centrally routed and bridged, 3-stage IP fabric with VXLAN overlay. The course begins with a review of Jinja2 templating and goes on to cover the relationship between configuration templates, device context, and property sets. Using this knowledge, a student will use the Juniper Apstra user interface to instantiate a Freeform blueprint (a running network). After teaching you to use Juniper Apstra to build a running network, the course takes the student through the process of deploying a centrally routed and bridged 3-stage IP fabric using Freeform. After deploying the Freeform blueprint the course reviews the operational tools for managing a system with Juniper Apstra including basic troubleshooting and day 2 operations like drain mode, adding and removing nodes from a fabric, rolling back an entire network (Time Voyager), querying the graph database, and performing Intent-based Analytics (IBA).
Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring a Freeform-based IP fabric using Juniper Apstra. This course is based on Juniper Apstra Release 4.1.1.
Note: On June 23, 2023, this three-day course will be expanded to five-days. The new course will cover the overall concept of intent-based networking, the Juniper Apstra architecture, and Juniper Apstra freeform reference architecture. Data Center Fabric with EVPN and VXLAN (ADCX)This five-day course provides in-depth instruction on IP fabric and EVPN-VXLAN data center design and configuration. Deploying Juniper Security Service Edge (SSE)This three-day course is designed to provide students with the knowledge of securing on-premises as well as remote users by implementing security policies in Juniper Secure Edge managed by Juniper Security Director cloud. Implementing Cloud-Native Contrail Networking (CN2)This four-day course provides in-depth instructions on Cloud-Native Contrail Networking (CN2) in an upstream Kubernetes environment. Students will learn to use UI, and CLI commands to perform configuration and monitoring tasks. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience with the features of Cloud-Native Contrail Networking. This course is based on CN2 Release 22.4.
This course will follow a use case where students start with a standard Kubernetes environment and CN2 as the Container Networking Interface. Students will configure and verify each phase of a use case.

Implementing Juniper Networks Secure Analytics (IJSA) This three-day course discusses the configuration of Juniper Networks Secure Analytics (JSA) in a typical network environment. Key topics include deploying a JSA Series device in the network, configuring network log and flow sources, running reports, and troubleshooting. Students will gain experience in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting the JSA Series device through demonstrations and hands-on labs. This course uses the Juniper Networks Secure Analytics (JSA) VM virtual appliance for the hands-on component. This course is based on JSA software 7.4.1.

This course lays the foundational knowledge necessary to understand a data center that is built upon an IP fabric, but does not include Ethernet VPN–Virtual Extensible LAN (EVPN-VXLAN) architecture. This course covers Ethernet switching, VLANs, Layer 2 security features, routing policies, link aggregation, load balancing, filter-based forwarding (FBF), routing instances, BGP, graceful restart, and bidirectional forwarding detection (BFD). Introduction to Juniper Mist AI (IJMA)This three-day introductory Juniper Mist Cloud training course is designed for network engineers and architects who use the Mist Cloud to build, manage, and maintain their wireless, wired, and WAN networks from anywhere—with a focus on wireless networks. It involves basic introductions to Mist features such as: Mist APIs, Marvis, location-based services, cloud services, and monitoring and analyzing the Mist Cloud platform, as well as hands-on labs with APs.
