This self-paced course is designed for experienced networking professionals with beginner to intermediate knowledge of routing and switching implementations in Junos. This course includes an overview of switching concepts and operations, virtual LANs (VLANs), the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), port and device security features, and high availability (HA) features. The course then delves into an overview of protocol-independent routing features, load balancing and filter-based forwarding, OSPF, BGP and IP tunneling.

Through lab demonstrations, students can watch how to configure and monitor the Junos OS and monitor basic device operations.

Note: All-Access Training Pass members or those looking to perform hands-on lab exercises should enroll in the equivalent Instructor-Led or On-Demand courses recommended for the JNCIP-ENT certification. Open Learning - Advanced Junos Enterprise Switching
This Juniper Opening Learning course is designed to provide detailed coverage of virtual LAN (VLAN) operations, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) and VLAN Spanning Tree Protocol (VSTP), authentication and access control for Layer 2 networks, IP telephony features, class of service (CoS) and monitoring and troubleshooting tools and features supported on the EX Series Ethernet Switches. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations. This course uses Juniper Networks EX 4300 Series Ethernet Switches for the hands-on component, but the lab environment does not preclude the course from being applicable to other Juniper hardware platforms running the Junos OS. Optional lab components are available allowing attendees to perform network management and troubleshooting tasks using Junos Space Network Director. This course is based on Junos OS Release 21.4R1.12.

Open Learning - Advanced Junos Enterprise Routing
This Juniper Opening Learning course provides you with the tools and methods required for implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Layer 3 components in an enterprise network. This course covers OSPF, BGP, multicast, enterprise architecture, and Ethernet VPN-Virtual Extensible LAN (EVPN-VXLAN) is covered in depth. The course also exposes students to common troubleshooting commands and tools used to diagnose various intermediate to advanced issues.

Enterprise Routing and Switching, Professional (JNCIP-ENT) Voucher Assessment Test
You will have three total attempts to pass the voucher assessment test. If you score 70% or higher you will receive a Pearson Vue discount voucher code for the actual written certification exam. The voucher code will be emailed to you upon successful completion. You may also find the voucher code under your Training History. There are no exceptions to the number of attempts. The voucher code is only valid for a maximum of 30 days. You must schedule and complete your exam within the 30-day window. Voucher extensions or replacements will not be provided.
