Advanced Juniper Security (AJSEC)

This four-day course, designed to build off the current Juniper Security (JSEC) offering, delves deeper into Junos security, next-generation security features, and ATP supporting software. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, you will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the advanced Junos OS security features with coverage of advanced logging and reporting, next-generation Layer 2 security, and next-generation advanced anti-malware with Juniper ATP On-Prem and SecIntel. This course uses Juniper Networks SRX Series Services Gateways for the hands-on component. This course uses on Junos OS Release 20.1R1.11, Junos Space Security Director 19.4, and Juniper ATP On-Prem version 5.0.7.

Advanced Junos Enterprise Routing (AJER)

This five-day course is designed to provide students with the tools required for implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Layer 3 components in an enterprise network. Detailed coverage of OSPF, BGP, multicast, class of service (CoS), and EVPN-VXLAN is covered in depth. The course also exposes students to common troubleshooting commands and tools used to troubleshoot various intermediate to advanced issues. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations.

This course uses Juniper Networks vSRX virtual firewall for the hands-on component, but the lab environment does not preclude the course from being applicable to other Juniper hardware platforms running the Junos OS. This course is based on Junos OS Release 19.3R1.8.

Advanced Junos Enterprise Switching (AJEX)

This two-day course is designed to provide detailed coverage of virtual LAN (VLAN) operations, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) and VLAN Spanning Tree Protocol (VSTP), authentication and access control for Layer 2 networks, IP telephony features, class of service (CoS) and monitoring and troubleshooting tools and features supported on the EX Series Ethernet Switches. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations. This course uses Juniper Networks EX 4300 Series Ethernet Switches for the hands-on component, but the lab environment does not preclude the course from being applicable to other Juniper hardware platforms running the Junos OS. Optional lab components are available allowing attendees to perform network management and troubleshooting tasks using Junos Space Network Director. This course is based on Junos OS Release 20.1R1.11.

Advanced Junos Platform Automation and DevOps (AJAUT)

This four-day course provides hands-on experience with DevOps, and infrastructure as code (IaC) with devices running the Junos OS. You will learn the tools needed to operate an open-source DevOps environment, including Docker, GitLab, Ansible, Ansible AWX, The Robot Framework, Jenkins, NITA, Event-Driven-Automation with SaltStack, and CI/CD pipelines. Hands-on labs include utilizing the tools to build a working DevOps project using two Juniper vMX devices.
This course uses Junos OS Release 20.1R1.11, PyEZ 2.3.1, Python 3.8.2, Git 2.25, and Ansible 2.9.

Advanced Junos Service Provider Routing (AJSPR)

This five-day course is designed to provide students with detailed coverage of OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and routing policy. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations. This course uses Juniper Networks vMX Series Routers for the hands-on component, but the lab environment does not preclude the course from being applicable to other Juniper hardware platforms running the Junos OS. This course is based on the Junos OS Release 19.3.

Cloud Automation Using Contrail (CAC)

This five-day course is designed to provide students with the knowledge required to work with the Juniper Contrail Enterprise Multicloud (CEM) solution. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of how to use the Contrail Command user interface, Contrail Networking, Contrail’s fabric management and administration features, Contrail Security, and the analytics features of Contrail Insights. Students will also learn to use APIs and the CLI to perform the Contrail configuration tasks. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience with the features of Contrail and Insights. This course is based on Contrail Release 2008.121.

Data Center Fabric with EVPN and VXLAN (ADCX)

This five-day course is designed to provide in-depth instruction on IP fabric and EVPN-VXLAN data center design and configuration. Additionally, the course will cover other data center concepts, including basic and advanced data center design options, Data Center Interconnect (DCI), EVPN multicast enhancements, and an introduction to data center automation concepts. The course ends with a multi-site data center design lab.

DiffServ-Aware Traffic Engineering Workshop (DSTE)

This one-day course covers the basics of the traffic engineering database as it relates to DiffServ-Aware TE. The DiffServ-Aware TE course covers the purpose and use of DiffServ-Aware TE, how to set up and configure DiffServ-Aware TE LSPs, and how to troubleshoot issues with DiffServ-Aware TE LSPs.

Enterprise Multicloud Automation and Orchestration Using Contrail (EMCC)

This three-day course is designed to provide knowledge of how to use Contrail Enterprise Multicloud in cloud networks. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in working with Contrail Enterprise Multicloud in Kubernetes, OpenShift, VMware vCenter, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. Students will also learn how to secure cloud networks with Contrail Security, service chaining, and Juniper cSRX. This course is based on Contrail Release 2003.

Implementing Juniper Networks Secure Analytics (IJSA)

This three-day course discusses the configuration of Juniper Networks JSA Series Secure Analytics (formerly known as Security Threat Response Manager [STRM]) in a typical network environment. Key topics include deploying a JSA Series device in the network, configuring flows, running reports, and troubleshooting. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting the JSA Series device. This course uses the Juniper Networks Secure Analytics (JSA) VM virtual appliance for the hands-on component. This course is based on JSA software 2014.2R4.

Introduction to Juniper Security (IJSEC)
This 3-day course is designed to provide students with the foundational knowledge required to work with SRX Series devices. This course will use the J-Web user interface to introduce students to the Junos operating system. The course provides a brief overview of security problems and how Juniper Networks approaches a complete security solution with Juniper Connected Security. Key topics include configuration tasks for initial system configuration, interface configuration, security object configuration, security policy configuration, IPsec VPN configuration, and NAT configuration. The course then delves into Layer 7 security using UTM, IDP, and AppSecure to provide students with the understanding of application-level security to block advanced threats. An overview of Sky ATP is included for students to understand zero-day network protection technologies. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos OS and monitoring basic device operations. This course is based on Junos OS Release 19.1R1.6.
Introduction to Junos OS Evolved (IJEVO)

This one-day course is designed to provide students with the knowledge required to work with the Junos OS Evolved. The Junos OS has evolved since its creation in order to leverage advanced operating system and platform technologies. As it has evolved, key fundamental concepts have changed, and continue to change, in how the operating system functions and is used by administrators. This course explains the key changes to the operating system and how it interacts with routing and switching platforms, and how the configuration and administrative tasks performed on Junos OS Evolved differ from Junos OS configuration and administrative tasks. Through demonstrations, students will gain experience with features of each of these devices. This course is based on QFX/PTX Release 19.4.

Introduction to Junos Platform Automation and DevOps (IJAUT)

This three-day course provides students with introductory knowledge of how to automate Junos using DevOps automation tools, protocols, and technologies. Students receive hands-on experience with tools and languages relevant to automating the Junos OS platform in a DevOps environment. The course includes an introduction to the basic DevOps practices, Junos APIs, and NETCONF. It then focuses on using Python, PyEZ, Ansible, and REST API to automate Junos. XML, JSON, and YAML are introduced as these languages facilitate Junos automation. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in automating the Junos operating system and device operations. This course uses Junos OS Release 18.1R1, Junos PyEZ 2.1, and Ansible 2.5.

Introduction to the Junos Operating System (IJOS)

This three-day course provides students with the foundational knowledge required to work with the Junos operating system and to configure Junos devices. The course provides a brief overview of the Junos device families and discusses the key architectural components of the software. Key topics include user interface options with a heavy focus on the command-line interface (CLI), configuration tasks typically associated with the initial setup of devices, interface configuration basics with configuration examples, secondary system configuration, and the basics of operational monitoring and maintenance of Junos devices. The course then delves into foundational routing knowledge and configuration examples including general routing concepts, routing policy, and firewall filters. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience in configuring and monitoring the Junos OS and monitoring basic device operations. This course is based on Junos OS Release 19.2R1.8.

This three-day course is designed to provide students with an understanding of cloud enabled networks, cloud service deployment concepts, and virtualized network platforms such as vSRX and vMX. This course provides a high level overview and understanding of the following concepts: Cloud Network Underlays, Cloud Network Overlays, Cloud Design, Cloud Implementation Methods, Cloud Services, and Juniper Networks Virtualized Platforms.

Juniper Cloud Networking with AWS and Azure (JCNAA)

This four-day course is designed to provide students with the knowledge required to implement Juniper Networks vSRX in AWS and Azure environments. Though demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain in-depth knowledge about the manual and automated methods used to deploy the vSRX in multicloud environments. This course uses various releases of the vSRX as well as Junos Space, Security Director, Policy Enforcer, and Sky ATP.

Juniper Mist AI-Driven Networks (MIST)

This four-day course is designed to provide students with the knowledge required to work with enterprise wireless technologies and Mist AI-driven Wi-Fi networks. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies, Mist technologies, and how to use and configure them.
