This four-day course provides in-depth instructions on Cloud-Native Contrail Networking (CN2) in an upstream Kubernetes environment. Students will learn to use the CLI commands and the UI to perform configuration and monitoring tasks. This course will follow a use case where students start with a standard Kubernetes environment and CN2 as the Container Network Interface (CNI). Students will configure and verify each phase of a use case.
Key topics include fundamental CN2 concepts in a Kubernetes environment, implementing namespaces, implementing Kubernetes services, implementing network policies, implementing virtual networks, routing with route targets and virtual network routers, implementing fabric source NAT, implementing IP fabric, and basic CN2 troubleshooting.
Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, students will gain experience with the features of CN2. This course is based on CN2 Release 22.4.
