Junos Security (JSEC)

Learn configuration, operation, and implementation of SRX Series Services Gateways in a typical network environment in this 20 module course. Key topics include: security zones, security policies, Network Address Translation (NAT), IPsec VPNs, and high availability clusters, as well as how to implement these features by using Junos Space and Security Director.

Junos MPLS Fundamentals (JMF)
Service Provider Routing & Switching

This 8-module course provides you with a solid foundation on Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS). After introducing concepts such as MPLS forwarding and the structure of the MPLS header, the course delves into the configuration and operation of the two main label distribution protocols, RSVP and LDP. Special emphasis is given to the central topics of traffic engineering and MPLS traffic protection, including fast reroute, link/node protection, and LDP loop-free alternate. The concepts are put into practice with a series of in-depth hands-on labs, which give you experience in configuring and monitoring MPLS on Junos OS devices.

Junos Service Provider Switching (JSPX)

This 11 module course is designed to provide students with intermediate switching knowledge and configuration examples. The course includes an overview of switching concepts such as LANs, Layer 2 address learning, bridging, virtual LANs (VLANs), provider bridging, VLAN translation, spanning-tree protocols, and Ethernet Operation, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM). This course also covers Junos operating system-specific implementations of integrated routing and bridging (IRB) interfaces, routing instances, virtual switches, load balancing, and port mirroring. Furthermore, this course covers the basics of Multiple VLAN Registration Protocol (MVRP), link aggregation groups (LAGs), and multichassis LAG (MC-LAG).

Advanced Junos Service Provider Routing (AJSPR)

This 16-module course provides you with detailed coverage of OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and routing policy. Through demonstrations and hands-on labs, you will gain experience in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting the Junos operating system and in monitoring device and protocol operations.

Junos Enterprise Switching (JEX)

This 11 module course provides you with intermediate switching knowledge and configuration examples using Junos Enhanced Layer 2 Software. This course includes an overview of switching concepts and operations, virtual LANs (VLANs), the Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), port and device security features, and high availability (HA) features.

Advanced Junos Enterprise Switching (AJEX)

This 8 module course is designed to provide detailed coverage of virtual LAN (VLAN) operations, Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP) and VLAN Spanning Tree Protocol (VSTP), authentication and access control for Layer 2 networks, IP telephony features, class of service (CoS) and monitoring and troubleshooting tools and features supported on the EX Series Ethernet Switches.

Advanced Junos Enterprise Routing (AJER)
Enterprise Routing & Switching

Gain the skills required to implement, monitor, and troubleshoot Layer 3 components in an enterprise network in this 18 module course. Detailed coverage of OSPF, BGP, class of service (CoS), and multicast is strongly emphasized. The course also exposes you to common troubleshooting commands and tools used to troubleshoot various intermediate to advanced issues.

Juniper Cloud Fundamentals (JCF)

This 9 module course provides you with an understanding of cloud enabled networks, cloud service deployment concepts, and virtualized network platforms such as vSRX and vMX. The course provides a high level overview and understanding of the following cloud concepts: network underlays/overlays, design, implementation methods, services, and virtualized platforms.

Juniper Networks Design Fundamentals (JNDF)
Design

Learn best practices, theory, and design principles for overall network design in this 10 module course. The coure serves as a prerequisite course for other design subject areas such as data center, security, and Service Provider.
