This 5-day Juniper Networks partner specific “BTI Series Technical enablement Bootcamp” is designed to get PAR providers the knowledge and tools needed to provide support services to the Juniper BTI Series portfolio of equipment – with specific focus on the BTI Series 7000 and BTI Series 7800 platforms.
The training covers the procedures to Operate, Administer, Provision and Maintain a combination of BTI Series 7000 and BTI Series 7800 platforms in a network, and covers 10G, 100G and 200/400G transport capabilities. This course will provide the student with hands-on practice on both platforms and their various hardware components, and will lead the students through the commissioning process of both platforms – from brand new, out of the crate systems all the way to a “turned up” network with actual payload. The student will learn how to install, configure, provision and monitor optical transport services on the platforms. Periodic housekeeping and maintenance procedures will be reviewed, and collection of Performance Measurements will be demonstrated. The student will also perform alarm configuration and alarm condition handling, including troubleshooting procedures.
