Node Slicing is a Junos OS feature that enables service providers and large enterprises to create multiple partitions from a single physical MX Series router.



During this 90-minute session, Education Developer Zach Gibbs will cover key components of node slicing including:

  • Overview of Junos Node Slicing
  • Detailed discussion of how the Junos control plane works with Junos Node Slicing.
  • How the Juniper Device Manager (JDM) functions.
  • Details on the abstract fabric interface functionality in a Junos Node Slicing environment.
  • Additional resources to learn more.
  • This free session will highlight key components from the Junos Node Slicing for MX Series Devices Workshop. The session will also provide attendees the opportunity to ask questions.
